3 days to go.............

Quick post tonight I'm afraid....I've tried juggling a bit much this evening, decided I would treat my colleagues at work by making some millionaires (chocolate caramel) shortbread, and managed to burn the chocolate and break a bowl!  Still on my Christmas theme with my trusty designer paper and cardstock, tonights offering is a design courtesy of another Stampin' Up! lady, Jenny.  I'm hoping to fill it with some lovely shortbread for Friday!

Bye for now!

4 days to go..................

As promised, here is another card that I have made for my Christmas Display.Very familiar colours as I just love the Jolly Holiday Designer Papers, and again I have coordinated with Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler. I have used a sentiment from Basic Phrases....and finally I've added that special edge using the Scallop Trim Border, this is one of the new punches and is so easy to use!

The design is called an Origami Christmas Tree and for anyone wanting to try it out type it into You Tube for great video instructions!

Back tomorrow with the next project!! Time for tea now and It takes Two with Claudia!!!

Christmas Fair...5 days to go!!

Only 5 days to go to St Aidans Christmas Fair, where I will be having my first stall showcasing our lovely Stampin' Up! products....the products although not directly on sale on the evening, will be available to order.  I have been busy for the last week making some projects and cards to share with you, that I will be taking along with me...I will try and post one project each night this week as a countdown!!

Firstly here is a lovely stationary box, idea from Splitcoast Stampers, and designed in Jolly Holiday Designer Paper, with complimentary Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Very Vanilla Card stock ( its hard typing those when you've not had your tea yet!!)
Closed box, with the beautiful Paper Daisies, overstamped with the Dot, Dot, Dot and Solid Stripe background stamps, and a coordinating button....
Room for a small address box, pocket for postage stamps, and a pen......

Opened out, we have space for 5 Christmas Cards, 5 small notelets, and 5 tags!  This can of course be adapted for any theme.

Finally, I will be having a raffle, for anyone who fills in a form with their details, they will be entered into a draw on the evening to win some lovely SU Goodies!

So hope to see you there - St Aidans C of E High School, Oatlands Drive Harrogate.
Friday 3rd December - 5pm to 9pm
PS over 40 lovely stalls and hot turkey sandwiches and mince pies!!

December Class.....mini scrapbook and a little extra?

Firstly, I would just like to say a huge thanks to all my lovely ladies who came to my first Card Making class on Monday.  I was a little nervous, but was ably assisted by my wonderful daughter, India, although she was feeling the pain by the end of the evening for wearing high heeled boots!! A good time was had by all and Aileen loved the dazzling diamonds (glitter)......so with 5 weeks left to Christmas, you may like to know what's instore for our next class on Monday 13th December.
Well this is it......

A beautiful Mini Xmas Scrapbook, perfect to house 6 family snaps! This is inspired by a project India and I made at a recent training session with the lovely Monica and Bekka.  Hopefully we will also have time to make a couple of hanging treats as well!!  Venue is Pannal Methodist Church , 7.00-9.30pm and  the cost will be £7 per person. To book your place please email me at alisonwilkins656@yahoo.co.uk
